2012... Played at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala. Rouse comes from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville after one season. Before a season-ending injury, Josh threw 7 1/3 innings with a 4.91 earned run average and 11 strikeouts.

Prepped at Sumiton Christian School in Sumiton, Ala... is second in Alabama High School Athletic Association history with 75 career doubles... also ranks in the top 25 in several AHSAA career categories, including career average and career runs as a batter and career strikeouts and career wins as a pitcher... was named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State team for four consecutive seasons... was named ASWA Class 3A first team All-State in 2010 and 2011... was named ASWA Class 3A second team All-State in 2008 and 2009... was named the Daily Mountain Eagle's Player of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons.
