Graduated Evangel Christian School in Alabaster, Ala. in the spring of 2013... helped the team win the Alabama Christian Sports Conference state championship... recorded a .400 batting average with seven homers and 41 RBIs during his senior season... registered a .907 slugging percentage and a .540 on-base percentage... competed at Pelham High School during his junior season, where he helped the team claim the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A state championship during his senior season.
