Jordan Counts

Before coming to Montevallo, he spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee Southern. During his time at UT Southern, the team won a total of 44 games, had 6 All Conference players, one National Tournament selection, and defeated two Division 1 opponents in two years (Samford & Tennessee Tech). In the 2023-2024 season, he helped guide the program to a 27-6 record, a 19 game win streak - the longest in program history, and a 2024 Southern States Regular Season Championship.

Before coming to UT Southern, He spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Purdue Fort Wayne, helping to lead the Mastodons to a 2022 Horizon League regular-season championship. During his time there he, coordinated video, assisted with scouting opponents, led individual skill development workouts, and assisted with all aspects of team travel.

Before his time with Purdue Fort Wayne, he served as a student manager for four seasons at the University of Alabama, helping the staff with various duties, such as practice drills, team travel, scouting of opponents, and several off-court duties.

He received an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Masters in Organizational Leadership.
