2016-2017… Was named a Silver Scholar on the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll…redshirted during his first season with the falcons.

High School... Graduated from Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama in the spring of 2016... was named the varsity team captain for Grissom as a senior... was also named a Grissom Scholar-Athlete during his career and was an academic mentor and a member of the Spanish Honor Society... also competed with the Music City Heat and Tennessee Valley Elite in AAU basketball during the summer... helped the Music City Heat claim the team championship in the Diamond division at the 2014 Las Vegas Fab 48 Tournament and helped the squad finish eighth at the Adidas Invitational.

Personal... Is the son of Jose and Isabel Rodriguez. He has two brothers, Jose Luis and Juan, and one sister, Bella.
