Biography

2025 (JUNIOR): Ariana played in and started 44 games this season. Pinder tallied 39 hits, ten doubles (T-9th in GSC), one home run, 20 RBIs, ten walks, and two hit-by-pitches. Pinder finished the season with a .281 batting average, .374 slugging percentage, and .333 on-base percentage. Pinder has been solid on the base paths, scoring 18 runs and going 5-for-6 in stolen bases. Pinder ranked third on the team in multi-hit games with ten and fourth in multi-RBI games with six. She notched three hits against West Florida and Lee. Pinder went 2-for-3 and recorded two RBIs in a win over No. 24 Oklahoma Christian. Defensively, she is responsible for 74 putouts, 49 assists, and five double plays.

2024 (SOPHOMORE): Ariana appeared in and started all 50 games for the Falcons. She also pitched in five games while she started in the circle four times for UM. Pinder had the third highest batting average on the team at .358 and had an OPS of .991. She set the table for the rest of the lineup as she got on base at a .431 clip (2nd on UM). She collected 57 hits, five doubles, nine homers and 33 RBI on the season while she slugged at a .560 rate. She lead the Falcons in walks as she drew 22 free passes and stole the second most bases for UM with 10. Against West Georgia, Pinder tied the program record with four runs scored. With 181 plate appearances this season, she is second in UM program single-season history. Pinder tied the program record for most sacrifice flies in a season with five and she tied the program record as she reached base in 24 straight games this season. At the plate, she recorded 17 multi-hit games. In the circle, Pinder went 3-0 in four starts (17.2 innings). She struck out 10 batters and threw one complete games for the Falcons. She is currently fifth in program history with four complete games thrown in her career.

2023 (FRESHMAN): Ariana appeared in 28 games this season while starting 9 of them. She threw 78 innings while striking out 19. Pinder had 3 complete games while she had 2 games where she went 6 innings with only giving up 1 earned run.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Ariana attended Glenwood Academy where she lettered six years under Head Coach Josh McConnell. Pinder was a Two-Time State Champion while she received All-State honors in 9th, 11th and 12th grade. Ariana was named Sports Vision Female Athlete of the Year 2019-2020, Sports Vision Most Valuable Player (2022), Heisman Athlete of the School in Alabama (2021-2022) and Heisman Athlete of the State (2021-2022). She was also a Three-Time Volleyball Champion and won the Basketball State Championship in 2021.
