2025 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): Ellie played in 33 games and started 18 through the 2025 campaign. Derrick earned 12 hits, six doubles, nine RBIs, and seven walks. She was solid on the base paths, scoring seven runs and going a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases. In her first game of the season, Derrick hit the game-winning RBI to lift Montevallo over Columbus State in extra innings. Derrick recorded multi-hit games against Georgia Southwestern and West Alabama. Defensively, she is responsible for 24 putouts, 25 assists, and one double play.

2024 (JUNIOR): Ellie appeared in five games for the Falcons and started in four. Derrick went 3-for-11 at the plate with a triple, one walk and one RBI. She saw her season cut short due to an injury.

2023 (SOPHOMORE): Ellie started 33 games for the Falcons during her sophomore campaign and she collected 23 hits in 95 at bats. Derrick was fifth on the team with 5 home runs on the season while driving in 17. She had an OPS of .771, scored 18 runs, had 6 doubles, and drew 9 walks. 

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Lindsey Wilson College
2022: Started 39 games for Lindsey Wilson while appearing in 43... in 111 at bats, Ellie had 32 hits including eight doubles, one triple and the second highest home run total on the team with 11... she drove in 35 RBI and scored 28 runs... had the third highest OPS on the team (1.104), the second highest slugging percentage (.676) and had an on base percentage of .428... Derrick walked 23 times and was a perfect 1-1 in stolen base attempts. Ellie was named Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Oxford High School where she lettered in 2019-2021 under Head Coach Wendy McKibbin. Ellie was named First-Team All-State in 2021 as well as Team MVP.
