2026 (SOPHOMORE): Kinsley appeared in 27 games and picked up 17 starts in the circle. Byrd had a solid sophomore season, ranking top-15 in the GSC in wins (10 - 11th), ERA (2.90 - ninth), and opposing batting average (.257 - tenth). Byrd pitched 106.1 innings, striking out 53 and walking 27 batters. She tossed six complete games and recorded three shutouts in wins against Christian Brothers, Mars Hill, and Spring Hill. Tied career-high five strikeouts twice in outings against Christian Brothers and Mars Hill. Defensively, she was responsible for 25 assists and one putout. After two seasons, she currently ranks first in the Montevallo record books in career ERA (2.53), WHIP (1.25), and opponent batting average (.252).

2025 (FRESHMAN): Kinsley appeared in 18 games and picked up four starts in the circle. Byrd pitched 37.1 innings for the Falcons while she allowed 13 walks and struck out 22. She finished the season with a 1.50 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and .238 opponent batting average. Byrd was solid in relief, sharing a team leading-three saves with Taylor Lloyd. The three saves is also tied for second in the GSC. Byrd picked up a win against Shorter and did not get credited with any losses on the year. Byrd recorded a career-high five strikeouts against Alabama Huntsville.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended T.R. Miller where she earned All-State Honorable Mention honors. Byrd also captured a pair of awards in tournament play, securing a Defensive MVP award and MVP award. Recorded 668 career strikeouts. Byrd was an honors student and a member of the honors society.
