2026 (SENIOR): Makayla played in and started 55 games in her senior season. Peters closed the season leading the team in doubles (13) and walks (23), which both ranked top-15 in the GSC. Peters totaled 38 hits, one home run, 20 RBIs, and seven hit-by-pitches. She posted a .275 batting average, .391 slugging percentage, and .398 on-base percentage. She was solid on the base paths, scoring 20 runs and going a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen bases.

PREVIOUS TEAM (Southern Miss): Spent one season at Southern Miss where she played in three games, recording two hits, three runs, five RBIs, one double, one walk, and one stolen base.

PREVIOUS TEAM (Gulf Coast State College): Spent two years at Gulf Coast State. In 2024, she was named First Team All-Panhandle Conference and helped lead her team to the FCSAA Division 1 Championship series. Peters totaled 56 hits, 34 RBIs, 51 runs, 17 stolen bases, 35 walks, while posting a .355 batting average and .958 fielding percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Rehobeth High School, where she helped lead her team to four Alabama 5A State Tournaments, including a runner-up finish in 2019 where she was named to the All-Tournament team.
