2026 (SENIOR): Mya appeared in 16 games through the 2026 campaign.  She posted a 3-1 record, earning wins over Valdosta State, Spring Hill and No. 7 AUM. She posted a 2.49 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and .253 opponent batting average. Young pitched five scoreless innings to secure a 2-0 win over No. 7 AUM. She pitched 6.2 scoreless innings against No. 14 West Florida in the regular season finale. Young saw the most action of any Falcon pitcher in the NCAA Regionals, pitching 6.1 innings through two games. Defensively, she recorded six assists and one putout.

2025 (JUNIOR): Mya appeared in 14 games and picked up four starts, pitching a total of 19.1 innings. Young posted a 3-3 record, earning wins over Columbus State, Miles, and Lee. She finished the season with a 1.66 WHIP and a .312 opponent batting average.  Young struck out seven batters and walked eight this season. Defensively, she recorded six assists.

2024 (SOPHOMORE): Mya appeared in 26 games for the Falcons while she started in the circle in six. Young is sixth in UM program history with 20 relief appearances this season. She pitched 62.2 innings for the Falcons to a 5-5 record. Young struck out 31 batters and allowed 41 free passes this season. In her first season as a Falcon, she threw one complete game and had six outings where she didn't allow a run.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Pearl River Community College
2023: Appeared in eight games for the Wildcats while starting six... threw 23 innings with a 3-1 record and recorded two complete games... struck out 12 batters and only walked 11.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Mya attended Paxton High School where she lettered for four year and earned a 4.2 GPA. Young was named salutatorian and honor student while being a part of National Honors Society.
