Chapman entered her first season as the Falcons' head coach after spending the 2022 season under the tutelage of previous HC Gary Van Atta. In her first season with Montevallo, she helped lead the Falcons to a 2022-23 GSC Championship Tournament appearance after posting a 12-12 league record and a 12-17 overall mark. Chapman coached a 2022-23 Second Team All-GSC selection in Marisa Snodgrass while coaching three GSC Winter All-Academic athletes. 

In her first season at the helm, Chapman led the Falcons to a 13-14 overall record with an 11-13 mark in conference play. Chapman's first season saw the Falcons offense shoot the highest three-point percentage in the program's Division II history at a 33.3-percent clip on a second-best 224 makes on 672 attempts. The 2023-24 Falcons also set a Montevallo record with a 74.7-percent mark from the free-throw line. Chapman's win percentage is the second-highest mark by a first-year head coach in Montevallo history. Chapman coached a pair of freshman that earned a total of six GSC Freshman of the Week Honors while coaching the GSC Freshman of the Year award winner and a 2024 GSC All-Academic selection in Marisa Snodgrass. 

Chapman joined the UM women's basketball staff in June of 2022 after spending one year at the University of Central Arkansas under the tutelage of Sandra Rushing.

Before UCA, Chapman spent two years at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. While on staff with the Drovers, she aided in the team's 35-14 record over the course of two seasons. She coached two All-Americans and five All-Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) selections.

From 2017-19, she was a graduate assistant at Trevecca Nazarene University. While on staff with the Trojans, the team saw an increase in wins each season. She helped guide two players to earn All-GMAC honors. While at Trevecca, she earned a master's degree in organizational leadership.
 
Prior to coaching, Chapman played four seasons at Southern Nazarene University. While a member of the Crimson Storm, she helped SNU earn its first ever Great American Conference (GAC) Tournament appearance. She was a three-time Academic All-GAC honoree.
