2025 (SENIOR): Rachel appeared in 26 games and started ten in the circle this season. Whiddon posted an 8-6 record which includes a win over No. 6 Auburn Montgomery which is the highest ranked win in UM history. She pitched a total of 70.1 innings, striking out 36 and allowing 31 walks. Whiddon finished the season with the fourth best ERA in a single season in program history at 2.99, while also posting a 1.51 WHIP and .281 batting average. Whiddon earned a save in her first appearance of the season against Shorter. Whiddon had a strong weekend against No. 6 Auburn Montgomery, allowing only one run through seven innings pitched in two games. Whiddon was credited with the win over the Warhawks in game two and pitched a complete game in the series finale. Whiddon combined with Taylor Lloyd to produce a shutout of West Alabama in the GSC Tournament. She recorded a season-high five strikeouts in a regular season matchup against West Alabama. Defensively, she has recorded nine assists on the season.

2024 (JUNIOR): Rachel appeared in 26 games for the Falcons while she started in the circle in 12. Whiddon pitched 71.2 innings for the Falcons while she allowed 49 walks and strikeout 42. In her first season as a Falcon, she recorded one win and lead the Gulf South Conference with three saves. Whiddon's three saves is tied for the second most in a single-season and she is currently tied for third in UM history in saves. She also threw three complete games and had nine outings this season where she did not allow an earned run. 

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Shelton State Community College
2023: Appeared in 32 games and started 25 for the Bucs... totaled 146.2 innings while she struck out 89 batters... recorded a 10-5 record and notched two save son the season.
2022: Appeared in 14 games and started in seven... allowed only 25 earned runs in 41.2 innings pitched... struck out 20 batters on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Rachel attended Highland High School in 2017-2020 and Fort Dale Academy 2020-2021 and played for coach Clent Lowery and Roger Hammonds.
