2024 (JUNIOR): In her first season in the purple and gold, Hayes played in and started all 31 matches for the Falcons. She had the second most kills on the team with 220, the second most total blocks with 71 and had the second highest hitting percentage at .247. Hayes added 39 digs, eight assists and seven aces. She led the Falcons to victory over Lander on Sept. 20 as she had 11 kills with a season-high hitting percentage of .524. Hayes posted a season-high of 13 kills against Lee on Oct. 25 with a .462 hitting percentage in the match. 

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Birmingham-Southern College
2023: Played in 24 matches and 83 sets. Hayes totaled 149 kills on .165 percent. She added five assists and 27 service aces. Defensively, she had 56 total blocks and had 33 digs. 
2022: Played in 4 matches and 5 sets. Hayes totaled 7 kills and 1 service ace. Defensively, she had 1 dig on the season. 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Claire attended St. Michael Catholic high school where she graduated with a 3.0 GPA. She also earned the Student Academic Athlete Award in 2022, Athlete of the Year in 2021, and named All-County.
