Kathy Simone is entering her fourth season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Montevallo.
Simone works with the Montevallo women's volleyball and softball teams, along with the Falcons' competitive cheerleading team.
Simone came to Montevallo from Columbus State University, where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for two years. While at Columbus State, Simone worked with the men's and women's cross country teams, softball team and women's basketball team.
Simone graduated in 2013 with a Masters of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Health and Physical Education.
Simone, who grew up in Palm Harbor, Fla., completed her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at the University of South Florida in 2011.
While at South Florida, Simone worked with the football team, men's basketball team and men's and women's track and field teams.
Simone is a certified Health and Physical Education teacher as well as a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Alabama Athletic Trainers' Association.
