Has a brother, Daniel, and a sister, Sara... an education major at UM, she is the daughter of Don and Lydia Phelps... her sister, Sara, competed in swimming and cross country at the University of Evansville from 2002-06... her grandfather, Donald Phelps, Sr., played football at the University of Washington from 1935-40.
