HOW IT HAPPENED

The Falcons raced out to a 15-3 lead in the first set before coasting to a 25-13 win in the frame. Senior Chandler Cooper capped the set with a kill.
UNC Pembroke tied the match at 1-1 with a 25-23 win over Montevallo in the second set.

The Falcons rallied to take the final two sets to clinch the 3-1 victory.

Cooper provided four kills in the Falcons' 6-1 run midway through the fourth set on their way to a 25-15 win in the frame.

Montevallo sealed the victory with a 25-16 win in the fourth set with junior Kristy Bohan contributing the match-clinching kill.

STAT OF THE GAME

Cooper registered a season-high 18 kills in the match as she finished with a .289 hitting percentage for the Falcons.
