HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons plated their first run of the game in the top of the second inning when sophomore Collin Dupree reached on a walk before scoring on an error by the Hurricanes.
- Montevallo took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning when freshman J.D. Minor reached on a walk before scoring on a RBI triple by junior Dane Hutcheon.
- Josh Logan scored the Hurricanes' lone run in the bottom of the sixth inning when he reached on an error by the Falcons before scoring on a RBI infield single by Alex Kranick.
- The Falcons scored a pair of runs in the top of the eighth inning to push their lead to 4-1 on a pair of RBI singles by Minor and senior Thomas Bradey.
- Montevallo plated its final three runs in the top of the ninth inning, which included RBI singles by Bradey and junior Daniel Pardo.

Senior Aron McRee (4-1) registered 10 strikeouts in a complete-game victory against the Hurricanes, marking the second time in McRee's past four starts he has recorded double-digit strikeouts. McRee allowed one unearned run on seven hits with 10 strikeouts and one walk against Georgia Southwestern.
BEYOND THE NUMBERS
Senior Thomas Bradey tied his season high with three hits as he finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a double against the Hurricanes. Bradey drove in two runs in the victory.
