HOW IT HAPPENED
- North Alabama plated five runs in the bottom of the first inning and three runs in the bottom of the second inning to open up a 8-0 lead.
- Montevallo scored its first run in the top of the third inning when senior Jeremy Hyde reached on a single before scoring on a RBI single by junior Dominic DeVille.
- The Falcons plated three more runs in the top of the fourth inning when senior Taylor Walker blasted a three-run homer to trim the Lions' lead to 8-4.

Senior Taylor Walker is now at the top of the Peach Belt Conference home run leaderboard after registering his ninth homer of the season against the Lions. Walker finished with a season-high three extra-base hits against North Alabama.
Senior Taylor Burr recorded a season-high four strikeouts in a 2 1/3 inning relief stint against the Lions, finishing one strikeout shy of tying his career high.
