-In the second period, the Falcon's defense held the Patriots to 10 total points, while their offense came alive and netted 26 points.  Montevallo entered halftime with a 41-29 point lead, their largest halftime lead this season.  Ashley Dunstan led the Falcons with 16 points in the first half and was 6-of-9 shooting from the field.

-In the third period, Montevallo's offense became stagnant and only managed to put six points on the board as they watched their 12-point halftime lead dwindle as the Patriots reclaimed a two-point lead at the end of the period.

-In the final period of play, the Falcons and the Patriots continued the scrappy play.  Montevallo was able to take a five-point lead late in the period.  The Falcons held off a surging Patriot's offense until there was 1:38 remaining in the period when Francis Marion took a two-point lead.  Montevallo was unable to reclaim the lead as Francis Marion hit their free throws down the stretch to seal the 68-61 victory.

-Jazmine Stubblefield led the Falcons offensively in the second half with 5 points while Morgan Smith led the team defensively and grabbed six rebounds.
