HOW IT HAPPENED
 -The Falcons got behind early to the Braves in the first period of play. After scoring the game's first points, the Falcons offense went cold. The Braves went on an 8-0 nothing run and held the Falcons scoreless for five minutes. Montevallo's second basket came with 4:17 left in the period off a RayVon Christian jump shot. The Braves outscored the Falcons 16-6 in the opening period of play.
-The Falcons offense started to get into its rhythm in the second period. The Falcons were able to cut the lead to three points midway through the second period. The Falcons' rally was led by Morgan Smith you scored 13 points in the period. A pair of transition baskets by the Braves pushed the lead back to nine points before the Falcons cut the lead down to seven on a layup from Jazmine Stubblefield with seven seconds remaining in the half.
-In the third period, the Falcons were able to cut the lead to three points for the second time in the game but the Braves pushed the lead back to double digits. The Braves led by as many as 17 points in the period.
-In the fourth period, the Falcons were unable to cut into the Braves lead, who were able to stay ahead by double digits. The Braves outscored the Falcons 24-19 in the final period.
STAT OF THE GAME
Smith was the Falcons leading scorer with 16 points. After scoring 14 points in the opening half, Smith was only able to manage two points in the second.
