Saginaw Valley State tied the game with four runs in the top of the sixth inning, which included a two-run homer by Lauren Bachert.
The Falcons claimed a 5-4 victory in extra innings when junior Darbi Duke, who started off the ninth inning on second base due to international tiebreaking rules, scored on a RBI double to right-center field by freshman Mariel Bertossi.
Senior Jocelyn Rivera earned the win in the circle after allowing just one hit with a strikeout and two walks in three innings in relief.
Bellarmine scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 5-0 lead.
Montevallo scored its lone run in the top of the seventh when Davila led off the frame with a walk before scoring on a RBI double down the right-field line by Vining.
