HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons and the Pacers opened up their three-game conference series on Friday night. USC Aiken took game one in a lopsided 22-5 victory.
The Falcons scored first in today's game with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning. Daniel Pardo drove in two runs on a double into center field to take an early 2-0 lead.
The Pacers scored runs in every inning with the exception of the first, fifth, and ninth innings. USC Aiken had two big innings in the fourth and seventh inning to take command of the game. The Pacers scored six runs in the fourth inning and eight runs in the seventh inning.Â
After being held scoreless for six innings, the Falcons scored another pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to make it a 22-4 ballgame. Montevallo's final run of the game came in the bottom of the ninth inning to finish out the 22-5 loss to the Pacers.

The Falcons and the Pacers will face off in game two of the series on Saturday, April 22. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm CT. Montevallo will also be honoring four seniors before tomorrow's game.
