GAME NOTES
- Evelina Teran and Amanda Nugent led the Falcons' offensive attack with double-digit kills. Teran led the team with 14 while Nugent tallied 11 kills in the match.
- Teran also was the team leader at the net and denied Barry four times.Â
- Harley Masoner was the team leader in assists and had 21 of them on in the match for the Falcons.
- Brie Blume continued to top the stat sheet this season in the digs category. Blume had 22 digs to help the Falcons in the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- The Falcons and Buccaneers faced off in the opening set and played each other fairly evenly throughout the set. After exchanging points to begin the set, the Bucs went on a five-point run to take a 9-4 lead over the Falcons. Montevallo was able to get back to within one point of the lead in the set, but the Bucs always responded with a run of their own. Barry took the first set 25-20.
 Set 2
- Barry took control of the second set early with a four-point run to start the set and took a 4-1 lead. The Bucs controlled the lead the rest of the set and went up 2-0 on the Falcons with a 25-14 set victory.
Set 3
- The Falcons and the Bucs exchanged points to start the set. Neither team was able to gain an advantage over the other, but Montevallo was able to put together a two-point lead. With the game tied at 22-22, Montevallo put together a three-point run to close out the set with a 25-22 victory.
Set 4
- Early in the set, the Bucs used an 11-0 run to take a 14-3 lead over the Falcons. Montevallo put up a fight and tried to get back in the set but came up short as Barry won 25-18.
