• Evelina Teran led the Falcons in kills with 10 of them in the match against Christian Brothers.  Teran also found herself near the top of the stat sheet in the block's column with five on the night.
• Brie Blume totaled eight attacks and 13 digs for the Falcons in tonight's victory.
• Amanda Nugent had six kills for the Falcons, nine digs, three assists, and a service ace in the victory.
• Hannah Fernandez led the team in blocks for the third straight match.  Tonight she had six blocks for the Falcons.
• Savannah Roys had the most assists in the game with 16.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1

• Montevallo opened the set on a 7-1 run that put the game out of reach for the visiting Buccaneers.  Montevallo maintained the pressure throughout the rest of the set and cruised to a 25-10 victory.

 Set 2

• The Falcons jumped out to another early 5-1 lead to start the set.  Christian Brothers worked their way back into the set and tied it at 10-10.  Montevallo was able to get a two-point lead before the teams exchanged points to close out the set.  Montevallo scored the final two points of the set to win 25-21.

Set 3

• Christian Brothers held a 3-1 lead to start the set but the Falcons found their groove and tied the game at 6-6.  The Falcons used a seven-point run to put the game away and led the Bucs 19-11.  Montevallo closed out the set to win 25-17 and claim the match.
