20' | Sophomore Allye Darnell scored her sixth goal of the season off an assist from junior Samara Lino midway through the opening half to give the Falcons an early 1-0 lead.

47' | Freshman Medhali Hernandez scored her sixth goal of the season of an assist from Darnell in the early moments of the second half to push the Falcons' lead to 2-0.

68' | Freshman Espy Sanchez scored her second goal of the season unassisted to give Montevallo a 3-0 advantage.

70' | Freshman Romee Contreras scored her ninth goal of the season two minutes later off an assist from sophomore Kira Bochard to push the Falcons' lead to 4-0.

GAME NOTES

• The Falcons, unofficially, are the No. 7 seed in the Gulf South Conference Tournament and will face No. 2 seed Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi on Tuesday, Oct. 30 in a quarterfinal match in the Gulf South Conference Tournament.
• Montevallo finished with a 27-8 advantage in shots attempted in the contest, including a 14-4 edge in shots on goal.
• The Falcons finished with four corner kick opportunities compared to two by the Bulldogs.
