- The Falcons shot a season-low 34.7 percent from the floor against Salem University, which featured four NCAA Division I transfers.
- The Tigers shot 50 percent from the floor and 84.6 percent from the charity stripe after knocking down 11-of-13 free-throw attempts.
- Montevallo outrebounded Salem University 46-20, including a 26-5 edge on the offensive boards in the contest, and also outscored the Tigers 20-4 in second-chance points.

- Junior Carl Johnson recorded the Falcons' first double-double of the season after posting a team-high 13 points to go along with a team-best 14 rebounds.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The University of Montevallo men's basketball team dropped its final game in the Kentucky Wesleyan College Thanksgiving Tournament in a 74-64 setback against Salem University on a neutral court Nov. 24.
Salem University opened the contest with a 10-2 run, capped with a 3-pointer by Chris Shields with 16:52 remaining in the opening half.
