MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
  • Montevallo swept the Knights for their first series sweep of the season. 
  • Tyler Krabbe broke the game open with a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning.
  • Steven Skolarz Jr. got the start for the Falcons and went six scoreless innings and struck out eight batters while only allowing one hit.
  • Tyler Krabbe was 2-for-2 on the day and also plated five RBI.
  • Sam Stohr went 3-for-5 with two RBI in helping the Falcons record the series sweep.

  • Collin Dupree grounded out on a sacrifice bunt in the second inning that scored Caleb Ledbetter to give the Falcons an early 1-0 lead.

The Falcons will open up GSC play on Saturday, Feb. 24th when they take on Christian Brothers in a doubleheader.  Game one of the doubleheader with the Buccaneers will begin at 1:00 p.m.
