MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS

 

·         Collin Dupree was 2-of-4 in the game and also scored a run for the Falcons in the bottom of the fifth inning.

·         Blake Devine was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs that came off a double into right centerfield in the fifth inning.

·         Cas Silber threw eight innings for the Falcons and struck out five batters and allowed three runs on six hits.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Christian Brothers got on the board first in the second inning when Jared Cramer hit a home run to give the Bucs a 1-0 lead.
  • In the fourth inning, the Bucs added two more runs to take a 3-0 lead over Montevallo.
  • Blake Devine doubled in the fifth inning to drive in John Michael Reed and Collin Dupree to make it a 3-2 ball game.

MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS

 

·         Caleb Ledbetter led the Falcons from the plate and went 2-of-3 and also recorded an RBI and a run.

·         Alex Pondick threw seven shutout innings and allowed two hits and struck out 11 batters.
