MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's lacrosse team defeated the University of Notre Dame De Namur Argonauts 7-5 in a nail-biter that went down to the final seconds.
Thomas Vaesen scored four of the Falcons' goals in his breakout game of the season. Vaeson scored three crucial goals in the second period to give the Falcons the lead heading into halftime and also scored the final goal that sealed the victory for Montevallo.
Kyle Enklemann,
Alex Dozzi, and
Kyle Nichols also scored for Montevallo in the game.
Kyle Little had 15 saves in tonight's game and only allowed five goals.

- Notre Dame De Namur outshot Montevallo 30-27 and placed 20 shots on goal compared to Montevallo's 18 shots on goal.
- Kyle Little had 15 saves with six of them coming in the second period. Little also fought off the Argonauts offensive attack to a tune of five saves in the fourth period.
- The Montevallo defense forced the Argonauts into 28 turnovers and was credited with one caused turnover in the game.
