MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The University of Montevallo men's lacrosse team was defeated by the Chowan University Hawks 16-8 in a road contest and their second game in four days.
Thomas Vaesen led the way for the Falcons with four goals in the game. Vaesen recorded his fifth hat trick of the season and had five shots on goal. This was the fifth consecutive game that Vaesen has recorded at least a hat trick for the Falcons.
Ryan Shae and
Blake Lowenberg each recorded two goals for the Falcons.
Montevallo is now 6-4 on the season and will resume GLVC conference play this weekend when they travel to take on the University of Indianapolis. The match with the Greyhounds will take place on March 31
st with faceoff set for 1:00 p.m.
