MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
· Sophomore Haley Barnette finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a stolen base and drove in two runs while scoring two runs in the victory.
· Freshman Carlee Mullinax went 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run.
· Senior Kelsey Vining, sophomore Holly LaForce, junior Dylan Bailey and sophomore Brianna Stella also recorded a hit in the win.
· Duke and Stella each stole a base in the victory, while Duke, Vining and senior Celestia Davila scored one run each.
· Freshman Mychael McMillan earned the win and improved to 8-0 in the circle this season after allowing just one earned run in one inning in relief.
· Sophomore Abbey Pratt earned her fourth save of the season after allowing just one hit in a scoreless inning in relief.
HOW IT HAPPENED
· The Falcons took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a RBI single through the right side by sophomore Haley Barnette.
· Auburn-Montgomery tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the third inning after plating a pair of runs in the frame.
· The Warhawks took a 3-2 lead after plating a run in the top of the sixth inning.
· Freshman Carlee Mullinax drove in a run to tie the game with her RBI infield single and junior Lady Sarah Federico gave the Falcons the lead for good with her RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning.
· Sophomore Abbey Pratt came in and closed the door on the Warhawks in the top of the seventh inning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
· Auburn-Montgomery scored the first three runs in the game to take a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
· The Warhawks plated two more runs in the top of the fifth inning to extend their lead to 5-0.
· Auburn-Montgomery plated its final run in the top of the sixth inning.
