MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
- Â Jason Cryar went 2-of-2 from the plate and also was walked once.
- Mark Castellucci scored the Falcons' only runs off a two-RBI home run. Castellucci was also 1-of-3 from the plate.
- Cas Silber got the start in game one of the series for the Falcons and threw 5 1/3 innings of work. Silber struck out two batters while giving up seven hits.
- Justin Whitley and Tanner Koch entered the game in relief for the Falcons.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Argonauts scored two runs in the top of the first and second innings to take a 4-0 lead.
- In the bottom of the second inning, the Falcons plated two runs to make it 4-2 off a Mark Castellucci home run that also scored Sebastian Samuels.
- The Argos pushed their lead to 5-2 in the top of the fourth inning.
- A six-run inning by the Argos gave them an 11-2 lead after the top of the sixth inning.
- The Argos sealed the game with a run in the top of the seventh to seal a 12-2 victory.
