HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- After going down 1-0 to the Golden Tigers, Montevallo scored four unanswered points to take a 4-1 lead early in the set.
- Tuskegee was able to make it 9-5 in favor of the Falcons before Montevallo went on another run that made the score 15-7.
- Both teams matched the play of the other for the rest of the set as the Falcons held on for a 10-point, 25-15 win.
 Set 2
- Montevallo took an early 3-0 lead in the set and never looked back as they outplayed the Golden Tigers in the set.
- At one point, the Falcons went on a 9-1 run to take a commanding 18-9 lead.
- The Golden Tigers tried to make a comeback late in the set but the Falcons held off Tuskegee for a 25-17 victory.
Set 3
- Tuskegee jumped out to an early 3-1 lead in the set but the Falcons came charging back on a 5-1 run to take a 6-4 lead.
- Tuskegee never got the lead back as the Falcons strung together a pair of 5-0 runs and cruised to a 25-14 victory.

 HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- Montevallo and Southern Wesleyan went back and forth in the opening set before the Falcons strung together four straight points to take a 7-4 lead.
- The Warriors kept it close and even made it an 11-10 game before Montevallo went on a 5-0 run to go ahead 16-10.
- Montevallo used another 5-0 run late in the set to take a 23-12 lead and then closed out the set for a 25-15 victory.
Set 2
- The Warriors opened the set on a 9-1 run to take an eight-point lead over Montevallo.
- Montevallo slowly continued to chip away at the lead and went on a 9-2 run midway through the set to take a 13-12 lead.
- Montevallo held a 20-17 lead late in the set and closed out the second set with a 5-0 run to win 25-17.
SET 3
- Montevallo dominated the final set from start to finish as the Warriors had no response to the Falcons attack.
- The Falcons closed out the set with a 5-0 run to claim the match with a 25-14 set three victory.
