HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1

• Montevallo took a 5-3 lead early in the set over the Bucs.
• The set went back and forth with neither team gaining an advantage over the other.  Late in the set, they went on a 3-0 run to lead 24-21.  Montevallo closed out the set to win 25-23.

 Set 2

• Montevallo and Christian Brothers played each other in another tight contest.
• The Falcons used a 6-0 run to win the set 25-22.

Set 3

• Montevallo led early on in the set 6-3.
• Christian Brothers came back on a run to take a 10-7 lead.
• The Bucs led the rest of the set and closed out the set with a 25-21 victory.

Set 4

• The Bucs controlled the set from start to finish even though the Falcons worked to tie the set.
• Despite tying the set at 15-15 the Falcons were unable to close out the set as the Bucs won 25-23.

Set 5

• After getting down 4-3, the Falcons went on a 7-2 run to go ahead 10-6.
• Montevallo led the rest of the set and won the deciding set 15-11
