GAME NOTES

• The Falcons big three hitters were held to just single digit kills in tonight's game.  Amanda Nugent led the team with a total of eight kills on the night.  Brioni Dixon totaled seven kills and Evelina Teran had six kills for the Falcons in the match.
• Dixon, Nugent, and Hannah Fernandez each had four blocks in the match for the Falcons.
• Brie Blume had the most digs on the team with 13 and Savannah Roys registered the most assists with 15 in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1

• After scoring the first point of the match, Montevallo surrendered the next four points to the Argos who took advantage and never relinquished the lead.  The Falcons were able to pull it to a one-point game, 20-19, late in the set but West Florida scored five straight points to close out the 25-19 victory.

 Set 2

• In the second set, the Falcons and the Argos went back and forth and exchanged the lead early on in the set, 7-5.  Every time the Falcons got the lead, the Argos would come right back and retake the lead.  Neither team held a big advantage over the other until late in the set when West Florida went on an 8-1 run to close out the set 25-16.

Set 3

• The third set went much like the first two as both teams battled it out.  Every time the Argos looked to be on a roll and tried to put the game out of reach the Falcons would come back and either tie the game or take the lead.  Trailing 21-19 late in the set, the Falcons exchanged points with the Argos as West Florida held on for the 25-22 win.
