- Despite a slim 39-36 advantage in rebounds, Montevallo finished with a 14-7 edge on the offensive boards while dominating in the paint and outscoring Auburn-Montgomery 34-16 in the lane.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's basketball team overcame a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat rival Auburn-Montgomery 61-56 in Gulf South Conference play Jan. 19.
