MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Miles College took a 1-0 lead with a run in the bottom of the first inning.
  • The Golden Bears added two more runs in the bottom of the second inning to push their lead to 3-0.
  • Montevallo plated its lone run in the game in the top of the third inning when senior Jason Cryar reached on a fielder's choice and scored later in the frame on a RBI groundout by senior Tyler Krabbe.
  • Miles College scored its final run in the bottom of the fourth inning before both teams failed to score in the final five innings.
