MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Montevallo Athletic department is hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness event Saturday, Feb. 23 to help raise money for breast cancer research.
 
The event will take place at the Montevallo basketball game against West Florida at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 1 p.m.
 
T-shirts will be on sale at the event for $10 each. T-shirts are also available for purchase now at the Robert M. McChesney Student Activity Center and will be available for purchase at all home basketball games in January and February.
 
The Paso's Big Slice Pizza food truck will be at the Student Activity Center from 1-3:30 p.m. 
 
There will be a silent auction for a pink basketball signed by the Montevallo women's basketball team.
 
At the game there will also be a bake sale, face painting, and a photo booth with Freddie the Falcon.
