DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The University of Montevallo men's lacrosse team fell to host Embry-Riddle 11-9 on the road in a non-conference match Feb. 14.

Connor Frederick scored a team-high three goals for the Falcons, who fell to 1-2 overall on the season.

3rd (3:44) | Gavin Madden scored a goal to cap a run of four consecutive goals by Embry-Riddle in a seven-minute stretch in the third quarter to give the Eagles a 9-7 lead.
4th (12:16) | Jared Kane scored a goal off an assist from Mitchell Cody to extend the Eagles' scoring streak to six consecutive goals as Embry-Riddle pushed its lead to 11-7.
4th (8:44) | Frederick scored an unassisted goal to trim the Eagles' lead to 11-8.
4th (6:41) | Williams scored the Falcons' final goal, unassisted, in the 11-9 setback.
GAME NOTES
- Montevallo outshot the Eagles 46-39 but Embry-Riddle held a 20-17 edge in shots on goal.
- Embry-Riddle won 15 face offs compared to eight won by Montevallo in the contest.
- The Eagles committed eight penalties in the match, while the Falcons committed four penalties.
