- Montevallo shot just 38 percent (24-of-63) from the floor and made 17 percent (3-of-17) of its attempts from 3-point range, while the nationally-ranked Bulldogs shot 55 percent (34-of-61) from the field and 43 percent (10-of-23) from beyond the arc.
- Union outscored the Falcons 44-32 in the paint despite the Falcons owning a 36-29 advantage on the glass, including a 14-7 in offensive rebounds, which helped Montevallo lead the Bulldogs 24-9 in second-chance points.
- The Montevallo bench outscored its counterparts from Union 49-24 in the contest, led by freshman Savannah Lee with her career-high 22 points off the bench.

JACKSON, Tenn. – The University of Montevallo women's basketball team fell to nationally-ranked Union University 95-74 on the road in a Gulf South Conference contest Feb. 14.
Montevallo shot just 38 percent (24-of-63) from the floor and made 17 percent (3-of-17) of its attempts from 3-point range, while the Bulldogs shot 55 percent (34-of-61) from the field and 43 percent (10-of-23) from beyond the arc.
Union, which entered the contest ranked No. 5 in the latest NCAA Division II media poll and No. 6 in the most recent coaches poll, outscored the Falcons 44-32 in the paint.
