- Senior Tyler Krabbe finished 1-for-4 at the plate while blasting his fourth home run of the season, driving in and scoring the Falcons' lone run in the game.

- Delta State plated two runs in the top of the second inning to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Statesmen pushed the lead to 3-0 in the top of the third on a solo home run by CJ Estave.
- The Statesmen added four runs in the top of the 5th inning to lead 7-0.
- Senior Tyler Krabbe blasted his fourth home run of the season in the bottom of the sixth inning to trim the Delta State lead to 7-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Delta State plated one run in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Statesmen pushed the lead to 2-0 in the top of the fourth inning.
- Montevallo tied the game 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Freshman Ben Teel singled to left field, scoring Junior Sebastian Samuels and Senior Jason Cryar.
- Delta State pushed the lead to 7-2 in the top of the sixth inning.
- The Falcons plated two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to trim the Delta State lead to 7-4, after Senior Khari Anderson singled to left field, scoring freshman Max Garvey and junior Ryan Brooks.
- The Statesmen added another run in the top of the seventh inning to lead 8-4 on an RBI double from Brett Young.
