HOW IT HAPPENED

• Montevallo plated three runs in the top of the third inning, highlighted by a two-run double by senior Khari Anderson, to take a 3-0 lead.
• Christian Brothers scored its first run in the bottom of the third inning to trim the Falcons' lead to 3-1.
• Freshman Ben Teel homered in the top of the fourth inning to push the Falcons' lead to 4-1.
• Christian Brothers added one run in the bottom of the fifth inning and one run in the bottom of the sixth inning to trim the Falcons' lead to 4-3.
• Montevallo pushed its lead to 6-3 following back-to-back RBI doubles by seniors Jason Cryar and Tyler Krabbe in the top of the eighth inning.
• The Buccaneers plated a run in the bottom of the ninth inning before junior Kuster Kinlecheenie recorded the final two outs to close out the win.
