MONTEVALLO, Ala.  – The University of Montevallo men's basketball team dropped a Gulf South Conference contest on the road against visiting UAH 88-66 in conference play Feb. 21 at Kelly Court in Spragins Hall.
UAH shot 57 percent (31-of-54) from the floor and 47 percent (17-of-36) from beyond the arc, in the game, while the Falcons shot just 45 percent from the floor (28-of-61) and just 17 percent (3-of-17) from beyond the arc.

UAH stretched its lead to as many as 24 points in the first half following a three pointer by Tanner Finely with 55 seconds remaining to lead the Falcons 57-35.
Senior Zach Jackson drained a three pointer at the end of the second half to trail UAH 57-38 at halftime.Â
Montevallo opened the second half on a 11-3 run to trail UAH 60-49 with 13:35 remaining in the game after a layup from freshman Jack Youmans.Â
The Chargers responded with an 8-0 run to lead 68-49 with 9:48 remaining in the game.
UAH led by as many as 27 down the stretch of the second half to top the Falcons 88-66.
