- West Florida outscored the Falcons 12-3 in points off turnovers after capitalizing on 16 turnovers by Montevallo.
- The Falcons outrebounded the Argonauts 40-30, including a 11-7 edge on the offensive glass, and outscored West Florida 14-7 in second-chance points despite the visitors outscoring Montevallo 22-14 in the paint.

JACKSON, Tenn.  – The University of Montevallo men's basketball team fell to visiting University of West Florida 69-66 in a Gulf South Conference contest Feb. 23 at Trustmark Arena.
