HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning following a RBI ground out by senior Lady Sarah Federico and a two-run double to right-center field by senior Marisa Sosa.
- Montevallo extended its lead to 4-0 in the top of the third inning on a solo home run by junior Mariel Bertossi before Union plated two runs in the bottom half of the frame to trim the Falcons' lead to 4-2.
- The Falcons extended their lead to 5-2 in the top of the fourth inning following a RBI fielder's choice hit by sophomore Brooke Ingram.
- The Bulldogs scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and secured the walk-off win on a RBI single by Taylor Manley.

MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Carlee Mullinax led the Falcons at the plate as she finished 1-for-2 with a home run while driving in three runs and scoring one run.
- Senior Marisa Sosa went 1-for-4 at the plate and scored one run.
- Sophomore Alexis Cortez finished 2-for-3 at the plate.
- Junior Mariel Bertossi scored one run.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Union plated four runs in the bottom of the first inning to jump out to an early 4-0 lead.
- The Bulldogs added another run in the bottom of the third inning to extend their lead to 5-0.
- The Falcons plated their first runs of the game in the top of the fifth inning when junior Mariel Bertossi was hit by a pitch and senior Marisa Sosa singled to left field before a three-run homer by sophomore Carlee Mullinax helped the Falcons trim the deficit to 5-3.
- Union scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to extend its lead to 10-3.
