HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a three-run homer by senior Tyler Krabbe.
- The Warhawks cut the Falcons' lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the first inning on a RBI double by Dalton Cobb and a RBI single by Sage Smelley.
- Senior Khari Anderson plated a run in the top of the second inning to give Montevallo a 4-2 advantage.
- A costly error by the Warhawks allowed three runs to cross the plate in the top of the fourth inning and Krabbe scored on a wild pitch to push the Falcons' lead to 8-2 in the frame.
- Auburn-Montgomery cut the Falcons' lead to 8-3 on a RBI single by Harrison Morris in the bottom of the fourth inning.
- Freshman Ty Wooton scored on a wild pitch in the top of the fifth inning before a two-run single by Smelley in the bottom half of the frame started a four-run inning by the Warhawks to trim the Falcons' lead to 9-7.
- Auburn-Montgomery tied the game at 9-9 in the bottom of the sixth inning on a RBI single by Cobb and a RBI sacrifice fly by Smelley.
- Montevallo took a 11-9 lead on a RBI sacrifice fly by Krabbe and a RBI infield single by senior Ryan Brooks in the top of the seventh inning.
- The Falcons extended their lead to 14-9 in the top of the eighth inning on a RBI groundout by junior Jake Morris, a RBI sacrifice fly by senior Jason Cryar and a RBI double by Krabbe.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Auburn-Montgomery scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning, highlighted by a two-run double by Matthew Zielonko, to take a 3-0 lead.
- The Warhawks added four more runs in the bottom of the third inning, capped with a RBI double by Aaron Hill, to extend their lead to 7-0.
- Freshman Ben Teel drove in the Falcons' first run with his RBI single in the top of the fourth inning, trimming the deficit to 7-1.
- Senior Tyler Krabbe blasted a solo shot to left field in the top of the sixth inning to cut the Warhawks' lead to 7-2.
- Senior Jason Cryar started the rally in the top of the seventh inning with his two-run homer to left field before junior Davis Lott blasted a three-run shot to right field to tie the game at 7-7.
- Jonathan Brandt delivered a RBI single to score the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Warhawks.
