HOW IT HAPPENED

• Peyton Stallworth gave West Georgia a 1-0 lead with a RBI single in the top of the fourth inning.
• The Falcons took a 2-1 lead following a two-run homer by junior Mariel Bertossi in the bottom of the sixth inning.
• The Wolves tied the game at 2-2 with a run in the top of the seventh inning before taking a 4-2 lead on a two-run homer by Madison Slappey in the top of the eighth inning.
• Montevallo tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning on a RBI double by Bertossi and a RBI sacrifice fly by sophomore Carlee Mullinax.
• West Georgia scored the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning on a RBI single by Hannah Scarbrough.

• Senior Lady Sarah Federico went 1-for-1 at the plate with a double and drove in one run.
• Junior Holly LaForce finished 1-for-2 at the plate.
• Junior Annie Adamos went 1-for-3 at the plate.
• Junior Mariel Bertossi and sophomore Bayleigh Lott scored one run each in the win.

• The Wolves tied the game with a solo homer by Hannah Scarbrough in the top of the fifth inning.
• Montevallo took a 4-2 lead on a two-run homer by junior Haley Barnette in the bottom of the fifth inning.
• The Falcons broke the game open in the bottom of the sixth inning following back-to-back-to-back RBI doubles by junior Brianna Stella, senior Lady Sarah Federico and Mullinax.
