HOW IT HAPPENED
- Montevallo took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning following back-to-back solo home runs by senior Tyler Krabbe and junior Sebastian Samuels.
- The Falcons extended their lead to 10-0 in the top of the fourth inning following a two-run homer by junior Ryan Brooks, a two-run single by senior Jason Cryar, a RBI single by Krabbe and a three-run blast by Samuels, which marked his second home run of the game.
- Montevallo took a 11-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning following a RBI double by senior Khari Anderson.
- Barry trimmed the deficit to 11-2 with a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning.
- The Falcons pushed their lead to 15-2 in the top of the seventh inning on a two-run single by Cryar and a two-run homer by Krabbe, which marked his second home run in the game.
- The Buccaneers plated four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, which included a three-run homer, to trim the deficit to 15-6.
- Barry scored its final run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
