MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Caroline Pope went 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and one RBI while scoring three runs.
- Sophomore Alexis Cortez finished 1-for-2 at the plate while driving in one run.
- Junior Holly LaForce finished 2-for-3 at the plate while scoring two runs.
- Junior Brianna Stella went 2-for-4 at the plate while driving in one run.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lee plated four runs in the bottom of the first inning to lead Montevallo 4-0.
- Montevallo plated its first run of the game on an RBI double by sophomore Caroline Pope, which allowed junior Holly LaForce to score, in the top of the second inning before sophomore Alexis Cortez singled later in the frame to score Pope and trim Lee's lead to 4-2.
- The Falcons tied the Flames 4-4 in the top of the fourth inning when LaForce scored on a wild pitch and Pope scored on an error. Â
- Lee took a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning on a solo home run by Claudia Jones before the Flames added three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead 8-4 after a solo homer from Taylor De Adder and then a two-run homer by Bailey Church.
- In the top of the sixth inning, junior Brianna Stella singled to score Pope and cut the deficit to 8-5.

MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Lady Sarah Federico finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run while driving in two runs and scoring one run.
- Senior Marisa Sosa went 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run while driving in one run and scoring one run.
- Junior Mariel Bertossi finished 1-for-3 with a double and scored one run.
- Junior Brianna Stella went 1-for-4 at the plate.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lee scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning, capped with a three-run homer by Bailey Church.
- The Falcons trimmed the deficit to 4-1 following a RBI single by senior Lady Sarah Federico in the top of the fourth inning.
- The Flames added one run in the bottom of the fourth inning and one run in the bottom of the fifth inning to extend their lead to 6-1.
- Senior Lady Sarah Federico blasted a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to cut the Flames' lead to 6-2.
- Senior Marisa Sosa capped the scoring for the Falcons with a solo homer in the top of the seventh inning.
