MONTEVALLO HIGHLIGHTS
 
  • Senior Tyler Krabbe finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and a double while driving in two runs and scoring one run.
   
  • Senior Jason Cryar finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a home run while driving in three runs and scoring two runs.
 
  • Junior Jake Morris went 1-for-3 at the plate while scoring two runs and driving in two runs.
       
  • Senior Chrit Rudkin earned the win on the mound after allowing just one earned run on five hits with eight strikeouts in 8 1/3 innings before junior Chandler Ingram entered in relief and recorded the final two outs.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
  • The Falcons took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning following a RBI double by senior Tyler Krabbe and a RBI sacrifice fly by junior Sebastian Samuels.
 
  • Montevallo extended its lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the third inning following a two-run single to left field by junior Jake Morris and a three-run home run by senior Jason Cryar.
 
  • Krabbe blasted a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning, which gave Montevallo a 8-0 advantage.
 
  • The Chargers scored their lone run on a RBI single by Tyler McCown in the top of the eighth inning.

  • Senior Jason Cryar finished 1-for-3 at the plate while driving in one run on a walk off single in the bottom of the seventh.
 
  • Junior Davis Lott went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a three-run homer.
 
  • Junior Jake Morris went 2-for-2 at the plate, with a triple, while scoring one run.
         
  • Junior Chandler Ingram earned his fifth win on the season, recording one strikeout in 1/3 innings pitched in relief.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Falcons took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the first inning following a three-run homer off the bat of junior Davis Lott.
  • UAH took the lead 4-3 in the top of the fourth inning after a two-run single from Tyler McCown.
  • Montevallo tied the Chargers 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth after senior Tyler Krabbe was hit-by-pitch, scoring freshman Ty Wooton.
  • In the bottom of the seventh inning, senior Jason Cryar singled to left field scoring senior John Michael Reed, to give the Falcons a 5-4 walk-off win.
