MONTEVALLO, Ala. - University of Montevallo senior Hunter Chavarry and junior Paul Murphy have been named the Falcons' Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 8.

Hunter Chavarry (Women's Track and Field)

Chavarry led the Falcons at the Gulf South Conference-Peach Belt Conference Challenge hosted by UAH last weekend, winning the women's 100-meter hurdles. The Alabama native posted a time of 14.47 seconds and finished third in the women's long jump competition with a mark of 5.27 meters.

Paul Murphy (Men's Golf)

Murphy led the Falcons at the West Florida Argonaut Invitational last weekend after finishing in a two-way tie for third place in the individual standings. The Irish native shot a 3-under par 213 in the three-round event, helping the Falcons finish in a tie for second place in team standings.
